Hey, and welcome to a series of Let’s Talk About Something! This Series will consist of posts with a randomly thought out topics (may or may not be book related, but in most cases… it will be a book-related topic because duh, this is a book blog. Anyway), where conversations can be built on. Personally, the purpose of LTAS is for when I don’t have a book review prepared. Ha!

This is the second time I’ve read this book so my only expectation is for the hype to stay up, up and UP. The humor was strong as ever, the romance was still high, but a few levels lower from the first read, and the plot isn’t as mind-blowing as I used to think. Although I forgot some information about the story, I remember the events and it didn’t seem as mind-blowing as I thought it would be. Continue reading “Obsidian (Lux Series 1) by Jennifer L. **I received an e-copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review**
Her Hollywood Boyfriend was a book I read last year around November, when I could slip a portion of my time reading. I thought it would be exciting to read a contemporary since I’ve been soaked in reading fantasy-based novels. A bit of normalcy or a story centered on real life sounded nice and it works well when a change in genre is needed to balance things out. Continue reading “Her Hollywood Boyfriend by K.R. Grace”→
A grand new year to everyone across the blogosphere! With it, comes my resolve to make a comeback in my blog. Choo-choo! Let me expand this further in a moment.
Just as the new year started, I also began my journey in the world of bullet journalling. Just to keep things neat and tidy, I had to buy a separate notebook with grids in it (because I am NOT good with making straight lines). Bullet journalling is a great way to keep things organized and keep track of daily activities from habits to moods to to-do lists and so on! Because of it, there’s so much I was able to achieve in the past few days that I normally wouldn’t be able to. Also, it is such a fantastic motivation for when you need to look forward to something every day, especially the crossing out/highlighting part of completed tasks. It gives off an accomplished vibe that, in my case, feels incredibly satisfying. If you’re not journalling yet, start one now!
As I’ve mentioned over at my bookstagram profile, this year’s reading journey will be at a slow pace. Going against the current, I won’t be setting a reading challenge. I found that it was restricting me from choosing the book that I really want to read and as weird as it sounds, it made me feel a bit claustrophobic. Like I said, weird. So instead, I will pick a book based on my mood. Or maybe I’ll just follow the Laws of Attraction. Let the book and I attract each other. LOL
And to top off this post, I might make some changes on this blog. A tweak here, a bit of tinker there. Simply to have a different feel on my blog for this year. And to keep things a bit more sorted out.
All that being said, my resolve is up and I believe 2019 will be an amazing year. I can already feel it! See you at the next blog stop!
