Review: The Call of the Wild

The Call of the Wild
The Call of the Wild by Jack London

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was searching for books as a last read to the year 2015, and I’ve chosen this! Many times, I’ve seen the name Jack London when I download ebook readers from the play store, and his book, “White Fang,” is one of the freebies. I’ve been putting the book aside for ages!

But here I am, making a review for one of his books! Isn’t that fate? *dreamy sigh*

As I read, Black Beauty had entered my mind, which I had read years ago. Both are goodreads! (see what i did there?)

Buck, the main character of the story, half shepherd dog and half St. Bernard, had lived his life to the fullest of it. Here is a quote from the book itself that supports that thought:

“Life streamed through him splendid flood, glad and rampant, until it seemed that it would burst him asunder in sheer ecstacy and power forth genorously over the world.”
